Jean-Philippe Courtois, President of Microsoft International, made a special appearance last night at the Imagine Cup's opening reception for all the arriving students.
I chatted with him about this year's theme of how technology can better the world and more specifically what technology students are doing at the Imagine Cup. He elaborated about how even those that do not win the competition go on to receive numerous job offers and continuations of their work. It really is an exciting opportunity to have such exposure and mentorship along the way resulting in amazingly polished and powerful technology.
